Episode Summary
- Susan tells Ben they are having dinner with the Morton’s at eight. They have something to talk to them about, but Ben doesn’t want to go. (Titles) Mark, Kenzo’s father, turns up as Ben and Susan leave. Janey is shocked to see him and Mark is shocked no-one knows who he is. Susan rushes back in realising who Mark is, followed by Ben. Mark wants to be more involved in Kenzo’s life. Janey asks Susan if she should let Mark see Kenzo. Susan thinks it would be good for him to have a charming man in his life and wants to know what Janey did to screw things up. Roger chases behind Abi, who is upset with him. Abi has dreamt that Roger cheated on her. At dinner the Morton’s explain to Ben and Susan that they have been experiencing some difficulties starting a family and would like them both to consider the possibility of Ben being their sperm donor. Ben is showing off in front of the mirror. Susan wants to know if they are going to discus the issue, but Ben feels it’s his decision to make and reassures Susan she is no less of a woman now she is no longer having children. Janey is pacing the room waiting for Mark to bring Kenzo home. Ben and Susan arrive at the clinic so he can donate his sperm. Kent recognises Ben, they went to university together. Kent Shows Ben and Susan in, but has to leave. Roger wants to know why Abi can’t realise it was only a dream and that he didn’t really cheat on her. Ben gets Susan attention so she can pass him a helpful magazine. Mark brings Kenzo home and asks when ‘we’ can see Kenzo again. Janey is angry to find out Mark has been married for 2 years, Mark and Linda thought she knew. Things are only made worst when Kenzo calls Linda his ‘new Mummy’. Janey wants to know if she is really that easy to replace, Susan informs her, yes she is. Janey can’t decide whether she should let Mark see Kenzo again, Susan tells her she has to do what’s best for Kenzo. Ben complicates things by tell Janey that he is ‘proud’ of her. Mark calls and Janey lies, telling him Kenzo is unwell. Abi had another dream, this time involving herself and Orlando Bloom. Everything is okay between Roger and herself. Ben’s sperm is lazy. Ben doesn’t believe it, so Kent shows him a sample. Susan finds it all very amusing. Ben will handle telling the Morton’s. Susan is making fun of Ben. Ben has called the Morton’s and arranged another dinner, but tells Susan she needn’t go, but she wouldn’t miss it for the world. Kenzo is full of questions and wants to know when he’s going to see his Dad again. Susan thought it was planned for that day and tells Janey that she has to do what’s best for Kenzo, Janey know but reiterates to Kenzo that he only has one Mum. Mark comes to pick Kenzo up as Ben and Susan are leaving for the restaurant. At the restaurant Ben is avoiding the subject, so Susan tells the Morton’s they have to decline their very complimentary offer as Ben would be too dedicated to his offspring. Kenzo tells Janey about his trip to the park with Mark and Linda. Linda wouldn’t let Kenzo have ice cream as she only eats healthy food. Susan tells Ben how she defines herself as a woman now. Ben gets Amorous. Janey and Kenzo are eating ice cream in the kitchen.
