Martin from over the road” has been doing odd jobs round the house for Susan to keep his mind occupied after the death of his wife. Ever the good Samaritan, Ben has plenty of suggestions for him.
Valentines Day is fast approaching and Ben enlists Michael’s help to buy Susan’s card. Janey is exhausted from working back to back shifts, Michael has a solution Tiger Fuel, an energy drink which certainly perks Janey up.
Susan is delighted with Ben’s gifts and saucy card, as is Ben until Michael reveals that it wasn’t his doing. Susan obviously has an admirer but who else has access to the house? Ben confronts Martin about the Valentines card. Martin apologises and offers to confess to Susan but Ben, having never been so in favour with Susan, doesn’t think that’s necessary.
It quickly becomes on of the Harpers’ most interesting Valentines weekends, with a creepy shrine and a cross dressing neighbour, culminating in Ben and Susan both being held hostage in Martin’s kitchen.
