S04E13 – It’s A Window Filled Life

Episode Summary
- Michael shoots a rocket sausage and it smashes through the living room window. Michael is grounded. Ben has trouble taking out a tooth with a child patient and he decides to go home early, leaving all his afternoon patients for Roger. Nick is starting up a new business, he wants to borrow money from Susan as she was the one that stopped them firing sausages from Michaels launcher as his free delivery service. Susan would like Ben to mend the window. Susan takes food up to Michael and finds his girlfriend Fiona up there. She tells them Fiona has to leave as Michael is being punished. Ben is making hard work of trying to mend the window, and decides to pop out to the pub, when Roger arrives and hugs him and explains that one of the patients at the surgery has Ortiz River Fever. Roger has shut down the surgery, and he mustn’t come into close contact with other people until he is sure he hasn’t any other symptoms. He then hugs Susan!! Susan puts the whole household in quarantine, which means Fiona can’t leave either, much to Michael’s delight. Ben is still trying to mend the window, badly. Abi is not helping matters either. Nick arrives with a very large python round his neck, Pamela. Ben turns them away even though Pamela is pregnant. Susan tries to phone NHS direct to find out about Ortiz River fever. Nick is now trying to persuade Susan to let him in at the kitchen window. Nick explains that Pamela is his new business venture. Selling eggs from snakes. Ben is now convinced he has the fever. Susan is less than sympathetic, and tells him to fix the window quickly in case he dies quickly. Ben goes to the window and there is Nick, again with Pamela trying to get in. Roger is completely smitten with Abi and tries out poetry. It is lost on Abi and she thinks he has worms. Ben is just finishing the window when one of the panes he has mended Falls out. He becomes very fed up and leaves, climbing out of the window. All the mended panes fall out. Michael and Fiona are just about to strip when Susan calls and tells them she knows what they are doing, and to stop it.
