Episode Summary
- Michael and Janey are trying to write a Father’s Day card. Father’s day was three weeks ago! Opening Titles Ben tells Susan he heard a rumour that their great friends have marriage problems, and Ben tries to dissuade Susan from interfering. Janey has decided Kenzo should have an agent and become a child actor. Michael is ordering himself a girlfriend from Thailand on the laptop, when Alfie asks him to help him promote his musical carreer. Michael will film Alfie doing his own songs and promote them on a website. Susan is cooking dinner for their friends Ted and Joanna, when they arrive Joanna mentions they are having trouble and they instantly start fighting and then slam out. Michael is filming Alfie, Janey asks Michael to take a photo of Kenzo for his agent. Ted and Ben are having a pint and Ted is worried Joanna is going to take him to the cleaners and that he may lose his kids, half his house and his pension. Joanna and Susan are having a drink and Joanna opens up to her. Susan says how unfair it is that Joanna is scared she will get no money. Ben doesn’t think she deserves half, as she has only been working as a housewife. Susan wants to know how Ben would value her contribution to their relationship, and he says 15%. He is banished to the sofa. Janey is coaching Kenzo and worrying Susan that she is turning into a pushy mother. Ben and Susan make a truce and he agrees she is worth 50%. They start to discuss what possessions they would be entitled to if they split up. So what Ben paid for is his and what Susan paid for is hers. The truce is over! Kenzo goes to the casting session and meets the other pushy mothers. Ben returns from Work to find Susan sticking coloured stickers on all their possessions. Ben thinks they are above it but takes the blue ones and starts sticking them on things too. They both put stickers on Kenzo but take them off when he hasn’t got the part. They do not label Janey. Janey has pulled Kenzo out because she doesn’t want to put Kenzo through all that, but they have asked her to be the Wheatie Pops mum. Susan sticks a sticker on her. Michael and Alfie are ready for the live website broadcast. When Alfie realises it is live and that there will be 2.3million people about to watch him he freezes and then passes out. Ben and Susan go to visit Ted and Joanna, who accuse them of going through a rough patch too. They offer to help but end up rowing again. After listening to them crashing and banging, Ben and Susan sneak out taking Ted’s Bollinger with them. Back home they toast one another with Ted’s champagne. All the stickers have gone except one!
