Episode Summary
- Susan is obsessed with watching Morse DVD’s. Ben is working on Mr Addis, who Ben wants to sign up for implants, and be Ben’s guinea pig. While under aesthetic Mr Addis confesses he killed his wife. Michael has a new girlfriend, who he wants to keep secret from Susan. Ben makes the mistake of telling Susan Mr Addis confessed to killing his wife and Susan now has a new obsession. She decides to investigate herself. Michael carries on trying to keep his girlfriend secret from Susan, and to keep her off his back, he suggests ways to help her investigation. Susan arrives dressed as a dental nurse at Ben’s surgery, while Ben is working on Mr Addis. She has come to collect DNA. When Ben arrives home, he tells Susan Mr Addis practically accused him of stealing his wallet. Susan produces it, she stole it to look for clues. He has a receipt for an axe! Susan arrives, yet again, at the surgery while Mr Addis is waiting for his appointment and tries to lead him into conversation about his wife. She is rigged for a microphone. Ben orders her out. Ben tries to put the wallet back. Abi spills the beans about Michael’s new girlfriend! Susan offers to buy Ben, who she now refers to as Luis, a pint so they can discuss the case in more depth. Mr Addis is watching them! Susan has gone out in the middle of the night, looking for evidence, he asks Michael to deflect Susan. To put her off this obsession with Mr Addis. Michael says he will oblige for money. Susan returns with Mr Addis’ rubbish, but it yields no clues. Susan, now dressed in trench-coat and hat, spots Mr Addis watching their house. Susan decides Mr Addis is now out to murder Ben, and she sets off to break into and search his house, where she encounters the real Mrs Addis, alive and well. At home, Ben asks Michael for his money back, but it’s too late, Michael has ‘transmatterated’ it into the bank! Ben is now un-nerved by Mr Addis staring at the house, he turns round and Mr Addis is there brandishing a big stick. Ben knocks him out, just as Susan comes back in to tell him it’s okay and Mr Addis hasn’t done anything wrong. We see Mr Addis waking in the surgery, with Ben and Susan pretending it was all a dream while he was under aesthetic. Michael leaves the house, with his ‘supermodel’ girlfriend.
